Stockholm!!
Happy Thursday! Today is the 28th of August, and life's been busy here in Sweden. Last Saturday I went with my host dad to Stockholm. We walked around, it rained, and we found out that the Vettenfall World Triathlon was going on! They were doing swimming, biking, and then running. We were able to see them start, but then we went and had Fika. I took a bunch of pictures(You're welcome, dad) and they're all on Facebook. The next few weekends are busy for me. This weekend my host sister, Anna, is having a party on Saturday, and on Sunday I'm going with my friends to Stockholm, where there will be a bunch of different artists performing, including Magic! and Rixton. I'm so excited! And then next weekend there's a scouting event in Stockholm called Ting, and I'll be camping on a beautiful island. YAY! The classes that I'm taking in school right now are kinda fun, but also hard because 99 percent of the time I have no idea what is going on… But other than that school is pretty amazing. What's really knew to me is the school lunches. At Onate, you get these little plastic containers with all of your food, Milk comes in these mini cartoons, and you get a plastic spork. At my school here, you get a plate and you serve your self how much or how little you want of each thing, you get a cup to put your milk or water into, and you get real forks and knives. And did I mention that the food is actually real food and not crappy? Afterwards you have to put away your dishes that way they can be washed. There is literally nothing thrown into the trash at lunch in Sweden, and why? Because Swedes aren't lazy or cheap. Well I hope you have enjoyed my rant, if you have any questions or comments, please tell me. Thanks for reading! Bye!
