Theater and... stuff?
Hej Hej! Happy Torsdag! Yesterday I had a Theater group meeting in Stockholm. Have I talked about Theater yet? Well, we've had 2 meetings so far. We spent the last 2 meetings doing improv skits and It was really fun, even though I was never 100% sure what was going on... The funny thing about comedy and theater is that you don't always need to understand the language to think it's funny. The group is going to put on a production of The Tempest, by William Shakespeare. In Swedish, obviously. It will surely be hard for me, but It will help me learn Swedish for sure! I hope I get a good part, but not a very big speaking part... This morning I finally started running, and it went great! I didn't even get lost! I ran almost a mile and a half, it doesn't sound like much, but thats more than I've run all year! Yesterday I discovered this amazing Youtuber who was an Exchange Student from the US to Italy, and he posted funny videos about Exchange Students. His name is Levi Bernhardt, so go Youtube him to see what it's really like to be an exchange student. Here are some facts about exchange students, brought to you by Levi Bernhardt:
1. They fall asleep anywhere, at anytime.
2. They smile and nod. Just smile and nod.
3. They creep on other exchange students and compare their lives. (Shout out to my fellow Sweden Exchange Students, Storm Hartley and Mirrel Luht for the awesome pic)
"OH MY GOD They have friends! OH MY GOD they go to so many more places than I do!"
4. They do something relatively active and try to convince themselves they just worked out.
5. They pretend to know whats going on. (Just cause they laugh at your joke does NOT mean they understood what you were saying.)
6. They wear their clothes more than once before they wash them.
But, seriously, go watch his videos. Tonight I'm making Baked Macaroni and Cheese for my host family. Those of you who know me well might be saying something like "You don't like Macaroni and Cheese!" And, well, I haven't tried it before so, tonight I will. And I can't complain because I will be the one making it and it will be delicious. You should know that lately I've been obsessing over Girl Scout Cookies from the USA and I'm DYING to get some, so my parents said they can send them :D But the cookie season doesn't start for another 128 days!!! UGH!!! I thought the cookie season was earlier than that :( I was hoping to get the cookies for my birthday or Christmas. They don't sell until January, and, even then, I'll have to wait for the package to arrive. But, on a good note, only 98 days until my 17th birthday!! For the first time in a long time, I'll celebrate my birthday in the same time zone that I was born in!! Yay!! Woah, speaking of days, I just realized today is 9/11. Wow, thats sad. Maybe I should watch the movie Fahrenheit 9/11. I've never seen it before. Is it sad? Well, 9/11 is sad. I wonder if 9/11 being 911 is just a coincidence. I'm lucky enough not to know a single person that was hurt or killed on 9/11. I don't remember that day at all, I was only 3 years old. RIP to all those beautiful Americans that passed away. Well, I can't end this post on a sad note, so, instead, I guess I'll talk about... ummm...something? uhhh..hmmm.. I don't really have anything else to say. I guess I'll talk to you guys later... bye bye :)
